How many fittings are you supposed to go for and when do you go? I was told by my bridal salon that my first fitting would be about 12 weeks prior to the wedding, but then when do I go after that?

It's all a function of when the dress comes in and how long it takes them to do the alterations. And the number of fittings depends on how many times they need to go back and alter stuff. For me, I haven't even had my fitting yet because my dress fits great and I only need a bustle. I'm about a month away! Which reminds me, I need to call the seamstress today.

I think it depends on how your dress fits. I have my first fitting about 7 weeks before my weddings.
