Well, ladies, I just finished my fifth round of chemo!!! (Well, technically I'll finish this round when I take my last 5 pills of prednisone on Monday).
My last round is scheduled for Jan. 3 and I've already told all the nurses that I plan on being done after that!!!!
I'm truly hoping that will be it...I have to get another round of CT and PT scans after my last treatment to make sure the tumor in my chest is gone and that my bone marrow is clear. So in mid-January I'll know if I'm in remission, need radiation (although the radiologist said that since 90% of it was gone after 3 chemo treatments, he thinks I may be able to avoid radiaiton). If the lymphoma isn't out of my bone marrow, I would have to go another round of chemo using different drugs (I'm really hoping that this isn't the answer I get!)
So right now I'm just looking forward to enjoying my Christmas!
