Flash Photography and Cell Phones During Processional and Ceremony
Are you asking your guests to remember to turn off their cell phones? If so, how?
Also... what about photography and flash photography? Did it, will it bother you?

I didn't ask people to turn off their cellphone and guess what they never rang. Thank God. As far as the flashes I don't remember the flashes at all. I guess I was caught up in the moment.

our officiant made an announcment right before the processional was going to start stating:
'The bride and groom thank you for joining them in their special day. At this time, they ask that you please turn all cell phones and pagers off, out of respect for the happy couple. Thank you'
as for flash photography--we didn't bother about it, cause everyone wants to snap a pic!

as for flash photography--we didn't bother about it, cause everyone wants to snap a pic!
I think that's what is going to happen at my church as well...the priest will ask everyone shut off their phones. I MIGHT also put a little blurb on the last page of my program requesting cell phones be shut off and screaming kids be removed (just so its clear to the clueless).

My officiant will ask that guests turn off their cell phones. She will also request that flashes be directed away from her and our eyes.
