And I was naive enough to think it was just because his friends were Met's fans - and Shea is easier to get to

SOOO true ... it runs in my family though. my brother (diehard Yankee fan) is married my SIL (diehard Mets fan). Its UGLY now that their son is being torn in two directions

As for the brainwashing ... my brother has already started the process with his son .. (good thing his Mets-loving Mommy didn't see this! )
I play to borrow the outfit when DH and I finally have children!!
FH hates it that I dress our little guy in Mets clothes....he is a die hard yankee fan...and Im a die hard met fan....but since I dress James...the baby is a Met fan.
Fh and I are going to the game Sunday...hopefully we will still be getting along with the game is over.

When my MOH's nephew was born he already outfitted with Yankees apparel up until age 2
But - they live in Boston now, so they had to be prepared
