Flight 3407 went down 20 min away from me

Last night and today is a very very sad day my heart goes out to all the families for their loss

I was freakin out for hours because FH was at a EMT class and he took his sweet A$$$$$ time getting home. He tookover 2 hours to get home when it should only take 45 min max and called his cell no joke 20 times and no answer i was getting more and more worried since he had to drive past the crash site right when it went down.

this is so awful- i am so confused as to the details. i read about it- but were there only 47 people on the plane (the ones that died) or was there more and only 47 died? i'm guessing it was a smaller plane. this is so so so sad. i am terrified of planes and this really just makes my skin crawl. my heart and prayers go out to all the families and friends and people involved in this.

the death count is now up to 50

yes it was a smaller plane

yes last nifgt at about 10:20 in clarance NY (it's a suburb of bufalo

they don't know what quite hapened yet. The plan was about 5 miles from buffalo/niagra aiport and just droped out of the sky. As of a few min ago there is still a fire buning since there is a natural gas leak

my mom told me this morning when I woke up. I am totally freaking out, I am terrified to fly and to hear of two planes going down in one month is making more terrified. Thank god the people that landed in the hudson all survived but it's terrible that lastnight another small plane crashed into a home and not only did all the people on the plane die but so did one person in the home that was hit.

This is such a tragedy. My prayers go out to all the families that lost someone.

I hear this this morning and i couldnt believe another plane went down!! Its so scarey and I feel terrible for the families of these passengers.

It's so sad. I was up at 5AM and saw this on the news. I feel so bad for the people that are impacted by this tragedy.

That’s so sad… they said one of the victims was a woman who was a 9/11 widow and was on her way to spend her husbands bday with his parents.

I heard about this.. this is just so awful and horrific.. imagine being in your homes and this happening to you.. my heart goes out to these families

i feel so bad for this what's scary is that i had a dream last night that a plane went down!!! so i was freaking out when i woke up and heard the news!

I was watching the news coverage all last night right after it happened, it's so sad. Everyone on board died (there were 48 - 44 passengers and 4 crew) and one person on the ground, it crashed right into their house. Supposedly two people go out of the house alive but were injured. I was worried because I know a few people who live in Buffalo but go to school here so I called and asked a series of questions before I told them what happened just to make sure it wasn't their house, or someone flying home for our winter break. So sad though, I wonder if they will have more coverage about who the passengers were and stuff.

I cant believe another plane went down... so sad!!! This is exactly why I am terrified of flying!!

I get the sinking feeling that I'm going to know somebody who was on this plane. . .

I've flown Dash prop planes to Rochester and Buffalo before for conferences, and it's supposed to be a straightforward up and down flight. Really, REAAAAAAAALLY scary. My heart goes out to everybody. . .
