We're looking into our hm flights finally (330 days before!!!) & I was curious what is the best airline to fly from the US to Europe--as far as room goes & entertainment (movies) & such?
Has anyone ever been upgraded (honeymooners?)
Thanks.

Re: Flights Question...HM HELP!
This was 5 years ago, but I absolutely loved flying Virgin Atlantic to London. They gave out a bunch of things (socks, ear plugs, etc), the seats were nice, and the food was actually good.

I've flown Virgin Atlantic and Air France. I've found both pretty nice.

Another vote for Virgin Atlantic.
ETA: I also enjoyed KLM...but this all depends on where you're going.

British Airways is worth the 200 or more $? How is Aer Lingus?

Aer Lingus is good as well. I personally prefer Britsh Airways but if Aer Lingus is cheaper, it's fine to fly them. Both are very reliable airlines.

Thank you. I was most concerned about comfort for the LONG flight.
Also what is the chance of being upgraded as honeymooners (slim to none?)

Yes, comfort is most important. The chance of being upgraded really depends on how full the flight is and how nice the person at the counter/gate is. Last year, I was going to Austin on Continental and I had in my hand FREE upgrade certificates from my company and the woman at the gate would not let me use them..she must've been having a bad day or something..she just flat out refused and I got very angry but had to get on that flight so just sat in coach. Definitely let them know you are on your Honeymoon...it doesn't hurt to try and honeymooners usually get special treatment anyway. You're going to have a wonderful time. Can't wait to hear about it once you're back!

British Airways - they will feed you throughout the flight. Their scones and clotted cream....so good!

Ive had nothing but trouble with American the past 2 trips we've been on. I would highly recommend British Airways, comfy, and great service.
