After trying different pre natals, my stomach was a mess. I finally had it and called my Ob/GYN this morning. She suggested Flintstones chewables. I just bought some. Has anyone else used this as a prenatal vitamin, and if so what was the outcome? Did you get sick? My phramacist told me that he has heard of using this before for a prenatal vitmain. I guess if it is not going to get a kid sick it will not get me sick. Any opinions?

my best friend has been using the Flinstone Chewables!!! I thought it was wierd, but she said since she can't take any other viatmin, the DR told her to use this one! Also check Trader Joe's...they have multi-vitamins that are like gummy candy!

I don't know about pre-natals but I can vouch for the sick part. Every vitamin I ever took made me completely sick, except for the Flinstones. It is the only vitamin that doesnt mess my stomach up.

How funny! I can't swallow pills so I take Flintstone's chewables - am glad to hear they are recommended, I kind of thought I was taking them for nothing!

My MOH (she just had her baby on Mother's day) told me about this too. That is what she had to do also. She is supposed to take 2 I think

Me too!!!!!! I have them right here at my desk and I just actually ate mine just now- a purple Wilma BUt it's good to know that I hava a head start on my pre-natal!

It does have folic acid, but I also take 1 folic acid pill before bed every night

Folic acid is really tiny...that is great about the Flinstones. I also have a hard time swallowing pills. Flinstone vitamins are comprable to pre-natal vitamins???? I would think there is a lot missing. I though pre-natal vitamins were huge becaause there is so much in it...if that makes sense.
