So, a few months back a friend of mine backed out because she said she wanted to get pregnant and she said she didn't want to be a preggers bridesmaid so she backed out. But, then she kept saying, 'If I do not get pregnant, I'll go get the dress.' Now, she calls me and says she isn't planning on getting pregnant anymore for awile. I couldn't say no, I felt like I was put on the spot so I said yes. Now, FI is mad at me for telling her its was ok.

Re: Flip-Flopping Bridemaid rant.
deff too nice! I would have told her to f- off...
my friend backed out for no reason for being my bridal party- i'm barely speaking to her now, she was being petty and selfish and not a true friend.
If she were to ask me to be in it i'd say no you had your chance.
My friend was just recently married and one of the bridesmaids was six months pregnant and still came out with us to the bachelorette party in Miami! Dr made her go on bed rest so she missed the wedding- but she wanted to be there for her friend no matter what- thats a true friend.

That is cool of you to be so calm and understanding with her. I prob would've been so mad the first time she backed out. But I guess it's also cool that she has now decided she wants to come back. I know it's crazy that she keeps changing her mind, but I guess it's nice to know she wants to be apart of it now that she's not going to be TTC. But I'd say definitely stress to her that this is it, she can't change her mind anymore - so if all of a sudden she decides she wants to try to get pregnant again, ok that's cool but she'll just have to wear a maternity dress!

Re: Flip-Flopping Bridemaid rant.
I understand why she wanted to back out or say no to begin with, there's no way you can be upset with her for that (i'd be more happy for her and the future baby!). However, I don't think i'd let her back in. I would've said to begin with that once she says no that's it. But that's just because I need the numbers to be even on each side and probably would've found someone to replace her, or if I let her back in FH would have to find another GM... or if the dresses were already ordered than that woudl be a whole different issue.

Sometimes you have to make things easier to keep the stress levels down.
