I am a flip flop junkie...as soon as the weather permits that is basically what i wear, not dressy ones but plain black reefs. I would love to wear flip flops for my wedding without it looking completely stupid. Maybe wear reg shoes..then change at the reception? Anyone have any ideas???? Thanks in advance.
what about platform flip flops? Whatever flip flops you choose they'll have to be the same height as the shoes you wear during the ceremony.

I was going to do this and I am so glad I didn't... My shoes ended up being really comfy and despite what everyone says 'no one can see your shoes', they can. JMO.
I am so glad you said you want to wear flip flops! Because I want to too!! I don't think it really matters that much because who is going to see your feet?? If I have to wear shoes, I am going to have to get flats anyway otherwise I will be taller then my FI! I say go with what ever you feel comfortable with!

I wore flip flops at my wedding.. wore shoes for reception and cocktail and changed into white platform flip flops for reception. I got them at old navy and i went to Michael's and bought things to decorate them with. Little pink and white bows and flowers, just hot glue gunned them to the flip flops. Well lemme say that yes people saw my feet especially when i went up in the chair for the hora and every person there raved about how gorgeous they were and wanted to know where i BOUGHT them and how much??? The friggin flip flops were the talk of the wedding!! so i say do it, they were soooooo comfortable and yet i was still tall. Its a long day, so do whats best for your tootsies.![]()

They have them for about $10 a pair...I think 20% off right now...I know Target has them on their website as well...but the last time I checked they only had the mens on sale for 7.99..I would do an internet search in google for just married flip flops...so many places have them...you can prob get them a little less than what I saw them for
