Do you think its tacky if my BM's wear flip flops to my wedding? It's kind of a joke between us all bc I wear them at every possible moment. Even when it snows. Not even kidding. LoL
I was thinking of buying old navy ones and gluing diamonds/crystals on them to fance them up a bit.
Is that dumb? or should I give it as a gift for the reception?

are you wearing them as well for ceremony? if you are not but you want the girls too, I would not do that
If you do want them to all wear for ceremony I would splurge for nicer flip flops than old navy, maybe reefs that have pretty colors and are more comfortable

Are you getting married in a church? Honestly, I'm not too sure flip flops are church appropriate...but that's just me and you can totally ignore me. If you aren't getting married at a church, then I say go for it!

i wore flip flops to my own wedding... (not on purpose, my sister forgot my shoes at home)...
anyway... i love the idea because its not random... if you guys are flip flop people then go ahead..
all my girls wore their shoes to the ceremony but changed and had flip flops walking into the reception...
i had considered having them wear flips to the ceremony too... but some girls already bought their shoes so i couldnt do that...
ETA: and i did get married at church...
I have seen other church weddings with girls wearing flip flops to the ceremony... i dont think it has anything to do with where the ceremony is but more about your personal style...

You can also get Havianas, they have silver and gold ones that are a little shimmery. I think it's a a cute idea, I will probably switch to them halfway through the reception, I am not comfortable in heels!

I'm getting my BM's flip flops as part of their gift. Etsy has a lot of really cute decorated ones. I am partial to havaianas. They are the only rubber flip flop I wear, I have them in about 6 different colors! I told my girls they could wear whatever shoe they want. I am changing into flip flops for the party and I am sure they will too.
