OK- I was super into posting & reading a few months back after FH proposed- but we moved & are doing construction on our house & have barely had time to check my email, never mind check out these boards! We planned our E-party-& we booked a photographer for the party so we know we'll have great pics-- along with the photographer comes the e-pic shoot... that's what I'm flipping about! I have been so excited for SO long about having casual pics on the beach & we just decided to do them Monday- it's starting to get dark earlier & we want to do them this year- we are both off on Monday so we'll have time to get ready- the perfect day! -- now I'm flipping about what to wear- if it will be akward- if I'm going to TOTALLY hate them after reading what some other people have said. We went with Velvet because of the E-pics & Wedding pics we've seen of theirs & their work is UNREAL! Bob was so nice & so understanding with all of my little quirks... I feel like every picture he takes the couples look so perfect- so what if I'm setting myself up for dissapointment? Everyone's can't be perfect right? HELP! I'm psyching myself out & thinking that maybe we shouldn't do them at all!

BREATH!!! Everything will be fine! Wear jeans so you can roll them up in the sand and a white button down shirt. I think that's a sexy beach look. FH can wear jeans too and a nice collar shirt. You will both look beautiful!

RELAX!! You hired a professional this is what they do. Your pics are going to be beautiful.
About what to wear I would do jeans or capris with a nice flowy shirt. Maybe a tunic type shirt.
Relax and enjoy it. This is one of the fun things you'll get to do in the planning process.

Calm down and enjoy taking the pictures, jeans are always cute to wear and expecially when you roll them up. The pics will turn out fine.

just calm down and relax. i thought the same thing when i took my pics last friday because if u remember it was a gloomy, windy, and very cloudy day. i thought our pictures were gonna come out terrible and i even thought about calling to reschedule for another day. but FH convinced me to stick with it and when we met the photographers in the city and i voiced my concerns they told me that i was crazy because photographers actually prefer an overcast sky and pictures come out better believe it or not. when it's super sunny theres too much glare and sure pictures still come out great but the optimal light for photos is that of an overcast sky. he showed us some pics on the digital camer aand he was right they were coming out amazing. just wear a cute pair of jeans that u could roll up and your pics will come out beautiful!

I booked Velvet also and already had my epics. Just relax and have fun! When we did our epics we did them on the beach also and Bob didn't give much direction. He said he wanted it to be more casual because the day of the wedding you have more of your posed shots. Do I love them all - of course not! But I expected that anyway and was hoping for a couple good ones - which I definately got. You are your own worst critic so of course you won't like some of them while everyone else says they look great. Just have fun with them! Good luck!
