Floating Flower / Candle Centerpieces

If anyone is looking for inexpensive but nice looking bowls to do a floating candle / flower centerpiece I found a source for inexpensive bowls. (We use this company at work to order prizes for our Summer Reading Club for the kids)
Oriental Trading has them for 4.95 per bowl. Each bowl is 2' x 8'.
I haven't seen any of the bowls in person but they look nice on the site and in the catalog. I can't say how heavy they are but I think they'd hold up for at least one day.

Michael's also has the bowl. I use that 40% off coupon that is the paper every few weeks and paid about $2.90 for mine. I only need 3 though.

What a great idea! That looks really pretty. I saw the floating candles at Seasons outlet in port Jeff.

Re: Floating Flower / Candle Centerpieces

I think that is where I ordered one from a while back but it is very lightweight and when a candle floated under the rim it got a small crack from the heat. But I'm sure for floating flowers they would be fine.

I spent much more on bowls for my centerpieces with floating candles but they are heavy lead crystal.
