Floral budget

I really hate asking such personal questions, but can some of you girls give me a estimate on how much you are spending on flowers. I know this depends on budget and personal preference, etc. But I'm looking for a ballpark estimate before I start calling florists. Thanks.

Re: Floral budget

Don't worry, we all ask about cost around here.
for a HUGE BP, and 20 centerpeices, I'm spending 2K, the best deal I found. My florist is Flower Den (she did Shamma's flowers, you could do a search and see her pictures)

Will probably end up being around 2k - was going to be 1400, but I will have more tables that I thought.

Re: Floral budget

$1,500 - $1,700

I'm not decorating the church.

The price above includes:
bride's bouquet
moh bouquet
3 BM bouquets
7 bouts
4 corsages
1 throw away bouquet
13 low centerpieces

I bought my pew bows off ebay. I got 10 for $24. The florists I visited wanted between $8-$10 a piece.

Good luck with your search.

I went over budget. (My FH is gonna' kill me!) We allocated $3000 for flowers, but I just booked Flower Michele for around $3700 (not including tax).

Re: Floral budget

Michele, I see you went with the fireplace flowers. My florist talked me out of it and I went with roses for the women's bathroom.

No one will probably notice in the bathroom, but after I started writing out all of these checks, I'm glad I didn't get another arrangement!!

How are you holding up? I saw you posted that you have 32 days...it will go quick!

I come back from my honeymoon on the 28th, so hopefully I'll be able to get online, post a review, and wish you luck before your big day!!

Re: Floral budget

I spent about $700 - $800

1 Bridal Bouquet (roses, stephanotis, blue delphinium and filler)

7 BM Bouquets (roses, calla lillys, other, and MOH had blue delphinium)

About 14 corsages, and 14 boutineers. 14 pew bows.

My centerpieces were included with hall as well as cake flowers. I used a different florist for the above. The hall florist did the tables and cake. I also did not have flowers at church (just pew bows and candles) b/c you had to use the church florist and they put out fresh flowers every day anyway.
I used Sprigs and Twigs in Central Islip.
