I know I know, there is a lot of controversy of the subject (from the danger of them, to places not allowing them, to them possibly being illegal) BUTTT, has anyone done them and if so, which florist did you use? (Im thinking for entrance, last dance, etc)
I found a pic acutally...(which I stole from somebody, sorry )
I am 99% sure my florist said they are iilegal now, because my FH asked about them

Re: Floral centerpieces with sparklers
I don't think they're allowed inside. BUT we did a Sparkler exit from the RH at the end of the reception and it was GREAT!
Just an option if you want to incorporate sparklers

Re: Floral centerpieces with sparklers
I am planning on having sparklers for after the reception as well. My hall alrady said that they ARE legal... soo, it all depends who you talk to and where you get them from. I loove the way they look, but I just have a feeling that I will have not enough people at the end b/c it ends soo late... So I still didn't order them...

Re: Floral centerpieces with sparklers
i think before looking for a florist that would do this, first you have to find out if your RH even allows it. In NY you are going to have a very hard time finding an RH that will allow this. Many RH's dont even allow the candle placecards to be lit when guests pick them up. On the table its fine but not when guests walk around with them.

wow! im surprised all of those RHs (in the pictures) allowed them to be done in conjunction with ceiling drapery. those flames look awfully close to the fabric....

That is illegal. I called my friends at Grucci b/c I wanted this done at my wedding. Its called indoor pyrotechnics. Sparklers are legal in NYS but you have to use them outside. You would also have to check with your RH if they even allow them.
