Floral Quote ... What do you think??

So, I visited with a florist today and I was quoted 2100 for the following:

* church bows for 10 pews
* 2 sets of flowers for the altar
* 10 centerpieces (with 3 dozen flowers of my choosing)
* 2 boks (bride & MOH)
* boutonnieres for groom and best man
* corsages and boutonnieres for all the parents

No rental fee for the stands. They'll also decorate my cake for me, too.

What do you all think?

to tell u the truth, i really don't know because i am clueless when it comes to the price of flowers. to maximize what you're paying for though, i would pick the most expensive flower..i'm talking 'little shop of horror' flowers! lol

hope i at least made u laugh with my unhelpful comment!

All the centerpieces are high. I am not sure if we need decorations for the church either... I'm getting married the Friday after Easter, so the priest said they'll already have flowers at the altar (which I forgot when talking to the florist).

I was quoted by J ack & Rose. I met with Jack and liked him A LOT, but I always feel so taken advantage of when I say the word 'wedding'. I love their work, but if I can save money... I'd like to. He talked a lot about how fresh the flowers will be, and knowing nothing about flowers I found that pretty interesting.

We have a meeting with Richard on Saturday, so we'll take it from there.

Any tips on negotiating the price?

Haha, for 2100.00 I want flowers that arrange themselves!!

Man, this whole wedding thing is making me feel so ripped off all the time.

I went with Richard, to be honest I didn't even negotiate with him. His price was right on with others and I just LOVED my centerpieces. I trust him too, which is a rare thing I have learned in this wedding business.

if your cp's are high then i think thats a good price cuz some places are charging 135 for highs so that would mean about 750 for the rest of your stuff which isnt bad at all
