Floral Terrace

Hello
I would like to know if anyone has had a wedding or been to a wedding at the floral terrace?If so how was it?I am thinking of having my wedding there so any feedback would be great.

you can the reviews on hear, they do one wedding at a time. My FSIL got married there, everything came out nice ...

but i personally dont like the room set up, and the dance floor actually being so high, almost stage like... JMO

I love that place Marianne was our banquet manager. She was always accomodating, eager to answer all ?s and guide us throught this entire process. Always bending backwards and trying to help us every time we needed her.
George was our Maitre d on our big night he took us through each room before our guests arrived.
As far as one word to describe the FT-IMPECCABLE. - the food, the service 5*****
Our guests where floored- the cocktail hour was impressive according to our guests. There was room for everyone to sit down -

Dinner- Delicious- that was 1 of the reason we piked the FT. The food was amazing! They offered seconds- everyone was calling us and inlaws they were very happy and impressed.

Service- hands down incredible. The Bridal attendants even bustled my dress and removed my veil for me before my maid of honor and bridesmaids had a chance ;)
the waitstaff overlooked nothing

DH's boss' wife even kept doing the napkin test ( when you get up and see if they fold the napkin) and they passed :)
The foods great and they even made sure that they had a ton of Grey Goose for our friends. One guest wanted a second glass of champagne @ dinner- they brought him out a whole chilled bottle.
FT brides- no worries!

Our Best Man got married there in 2004.....That's why we picked the same place, It was the BEST wedding we ever went to!!!!!!

I'm pretty biased about FT. To answer the question about the food: The food is amazing. I've been to a lot RHs and i never really remembered the food that i ate in other RHs but for some reason i remember what i ate at FT. I've been to a wedding there. There was so much food at the CH. They give a lot of different stations. If you want to change a station they are very flexible. My selection for dinner was incredible(Chilean Sea Bass). There's like 5 choices. The bride and groom will get all the choices on their table for dinner. They also offer seconds. If you're too full... they'll put your dinner in a doggie bag. VH was amazing. If you get the VH they add an extra hour. And there's so much dessert as well so your guests can also take home the leftovers from the VH. There's so much that they give you if you book there. I know i'm being really general but you can FM me if you want morse details.

I would just like to tell all the FT Brides that you have nothing to worry about. I got married on 3/3/07 and cannot tell you how unbelievable the service was. From the food to the service all my guests were telling us how beautiful it was.As soon as I get some pics together I will post them.....

My sister got married there in Oct and everything was perfect. The food was amazing and they were so helpful.

As someone said above you have to like the place and it's not for everybody. The room is not my favorite but they put on an unbelievable wedding. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!!

That is my favorite place around, thats why I picked it for my wedding. I love the raised dance floor and they offer so much there. I cant wait.

I had my senior banquet there yearssss ago and it was great! One of my best friends just had her wedding there in June of 2006.
We had a GREAT time, the food was AMAZING (sooo much food by the way...plus seconds!)
And I personally think the place is gorgeous! There's all different floor levels for each event. Cocktail hour on one, reception on another, and bridal suite is on top floor. Then there's the lobby with beautiful picture taking options.
And the best is that you have the whole place to yourself, b/c there's only one wedding at a time!

I really love the Floral Terrace. Being from Floral Park, I've been to several events there including weddings. The food and service is great. As for the room, I love it bc it's unique. It has such a vintage like feel to it. It used to be an old movie theatre (when I say old it was built in the 30's) and still has that feel to it. I actually saw Return of the Jedi there when I was little

I love the raised dance floor and bc it was originally a theatre the acustics are GREAT. Bands/DJ's love playing there.
