Re: Floral Terrace

really? i am surprised.
my moh was married there a year ago and everything was beautiful. the food was amazing and the room looked so pretty with her color(brown).

everything went so smooth on the day of their wedding.

sharing an experience you had with a vendor is much appreciated but i wouldnt go saying not to book there. there are many girls on here who are booked there and think Floral Terrace is their dream place and you dont want to discourage them from that.

Hmmm we went to FH's friend's wedding there last Septemeber.... the decor wasn't 'my style' but we thought the food was pretty good! The cocktail hour was better than the dinner, IMO but still I had the fish and it was very good and FH loved his steak.

I didn't notice any issues with the waitstaff either (and I used to be a bridal attendant so I always pay lots of attention to stuff like how weddings are run etc)

Maybe they were having a really off night for some reason, lots of new staff?

Re: Floral Terrace

i agree with the OP a lot of girls are getting married there and you sound a little harsh telling people not to book there

im getting married there and love my experience with them...i also went to a wedding at FT last year and it was great

I appreciate everyone's opinions and reviews and have really relied on them.. but I think that's too harsh. Everyone can have a different experience and I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings that booked there. Everyone's style is different and maybe the food just had an off night.

Re: Floral Terrace

MY sis is getting married there this october...I've been there several times, and find nothing wrong with their decor......and word of advice...you really should not come on here and trash a hall like that...it causes all sorts of drama! It's one thing to share an honest opinion, but that was a bit harsh to any ladies that are having their wedding there!!

Edited for spelling*

Re: Floral Terrace

That is a shock...we were married there in June and people are still calling and raving about the service and food and everything, sayving it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We even had a friend who is a food critic as our guest and he could not get over the quality. Regardless everyone is entitled to their opinion however your original post was aggressive and telling people not to book somewhere is not going to get you positive remarks. Regardless of the catering hall, everyone has had good and bad experiences.

I hope that the person you are referring to that got married sat is not a LIW bride...I think she would be really hurt if she heard you talking bad about her wedding.
Sorry for your bad experience. I am sure wherever you book will also has unhappy people.

Hello Ladies!

I went to a wedding this Saturday at Floral Terrace - and I must say, it was not what I expected. The food was horrible, bad enough that we didnt eat any of it! Waitresses and waiters kept dropping the dishes onto the floor and if not they accidently dropped utensils onto guests without apologizing!! the decor was tacky and old! The ONLY good thing that they offer was they only do one at a time event... and that is it!! so future brides looking for a place to have your wedding -- DO NOT BOOK THERE!

Sorry you had a bad experience.
But mine was the total opposite.
Floral Terrace was absolutely WONDERFUL.
The food, the service, the 'tacky decor' were all perfect.
I don't know why you're so against FT
Their reputation is excellent and they follow through.
