Key West is nice....Marco Island is beautiful....Sanibel Island is nice too....HTH!!! Try to use TripAdvisor.com

i absolutely LOVE Key West
I would be going there for my HM if it wasnt in january - the Keys are like a million tropical islands. . .with all the comforts of staying in the US
there are tons of nice hotels. . . great restaurants and bars. . . if you want a quieter experience stay at one of the nearby keys ( we stayed in Big Pine Key but we rented a house) and then just drive into Key West

I'd say Captiva Island near Sannibel Island. They have the most amazing sunsets!!!!!!!

I recently went to a destination wedding on Jeckyl Island. It's actually in Georgia, but it's a 45 min drive from the Jax airport. If you want a secluded quiet beach - that's a great choice!
If you are looking for a variety of things to do the Keys are your best bet. You can always start in South Beach then drive down to the Keys.
I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, and I have friends and family almost everywhere in Florida - I'd be happy to answer any questions.
