Florida Honeymoon question...

Does anyone have any ideas to what we can do for a few days when we go to Florida for our honeymoon? We have somewhere to stay for however long we want to be there, but we'd like to do something else besides going to Disney and Universal Studios, to break up running around. I was thinking flying down to Key West, but I think it's too expensive, and then I thought maybe drive to the St. Petersburg area, or maybe take a Carnival Bahama Cruise for a few nights out of Port Canaveral. Any ideas??? Has anyone done any of these things? Thanks!

Florida Honeymoon question...

Key West is a great place so if you can afford a night or two there - it is worth it! I will warn you that the hotels book fast and are expensive. Also, choose a well known name as some of their B&B are just odd. Ive also done a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. Again - very worth it - especially if you can a good deal (our cruise was $299 for 4 day). The Bahamas aren't that great but the cruise itself is a lot of fun. You can also take a ferry from some cities directly to the Bahamas but I think the cruise is a better way to go. Also, if you have not already been, dont rule out Disney & Universal. It is a lot of fun!

Florida Honeymoon question...

If you like to party don't miss Ybor City on a Friday or Saturday night or shopping during the day. It is THE BEST! In Tampa is Busch Gardens if you are an animal lover. If you like to gamble Seminole Bingo in Tampa. Also I noticed that you will be in Florida around Halloween. Universal has Halloween Horror Nights and that is also great. If you would like to swim with the dolphins Seaworld has Discovery Cove. I am originally from Central Florida so if you need any other help just let me know.

other keys

while I love Key West, I agree with Stef as it is expensive and I have stayed at a B&B that bordered odd...but the city is not like anywhere else in Florida...but keep in mind there are so many keys...that actually might give you the quiet you are looking for on your honeymoon...there is a key somewher off the coast of West Flordia by the Naples and Cape Coral area... Also what about Miami?
