We are in the process of choosing a florist and are very impressed with Florissima and Flowers By Brian - any feedback?

I would of used Flowers by Brian - I thought they were terrific - The only reason I didn't use them was I used Stefan's (which was my house florist) but they were my second choice - they let you go in the day before your wedding and see your flowers

They were the only florist we looked at because we were so happy with what we saw when we met with them. Their arrangements are stunning and last for days! We liked that they only do private affairs and are not a retail florist, plus they only take so many affairs per day. They receive fresh shipments each week, I believe on Tuesdays. We met with Lisa the first time, and really liked her enthusiasm. That was back in October, I believe. Since, I`ve spoken to her several times, and we will be going in tomorrow to see a sample of our centerpiece. The day before our wedding, we will get to see our flowers and make sure we`re happy with everything. This was a great bonus to me. I`m sure the day before the wedding I`ll have lots to do, but I`m actually looking forward to being able to go in and see the flowers. I`m sure they`re going to be awesome. I`ve also spoken with Brian and Bobbi, and I have to say, everyone has been really great to deal with.

Was Flowers by Brian expensive. I have an appointment on Thursday to check them out, and I don't want to get sticker shock. I know most times price at a florist is based on what you pick out, but i would just like an estimated cost.

i know they do nice work but i heard they are expensive. my sis used burtons and now i am. they are great and alot less expensive.

I used FBB and I was not very happy for my 2/01 wedding . The night before I went to look and the BM's flowers were nothing like the sample . I was crying the rest of the night . They knew I was upset and made some changes , but it was still not what I had been shown originally . The day of the wedding the centerpieces were turning brown by the end of the day . No one from Flowers by Brian ever called to follow up considering I was bawling in the store the day before and they knew I was upset . In fact , I knew Bobbi though a mutual friend and she was not even there the day before my wedding when I went to see the bouquets and never followed up after , even when I never sent a thank you . My SIL just used Stefans and they were GREAT and A LOT cheaper !
