Hi All,

Has anyone booked them? If so what has your experience been like? Also, did he offer you any kind of discount up front valid for a set # of days if you booked with them?

my sister used them 3 years ago. the only complaint we had was when the centerpieces were delivered the roses were all closed. my psycho mom made them go around to each rose and manually open them.

I just got back from an appointment. I felt good about it, but heard some not so good things from a co-worker....but I thought he was nice & very personable.

i remember them being nice and had good prices. once the roses opened they were very pretty.

J & R....1st word Jack 2nd word Rose, Im not sure why they are blocking it out.

They are blocked because several brides complained about them, they were on 'Shame on You' on TV, and have a terrible reputation. They pulled their advertising from LIW. I, personally, did not use them. I did; however, meet with them and I did not get a good vibe from the owner. He was pushy and when I asked for a quote on specific flowers, he would tell me 'we'll talk about that after you book with us.' Then, I found out later that this happened to other brides and they were not permitted to get the flowers they wanted.

They have a reputation of sending the wrong flowers (carnations instead of roses), or not sending the right amount of flowers (would put 6 roses in CP rather than 12).

You have to make your own decision though. A friend of mine used them and had no problem with them at all. It's up to you.

I had a good vibe as well. It did concern me that they wouldnt do a sample b4 u booked, I havent been to any other florists yet to know if that is standard or not.

I booked them. i liked them. I think the issues were in the past. I have heard really great things about them recently.

Their prices are realy good b/c they have 3 loctions and they buy in bulk.

I've heard really bad things from them about a co-worker who used them. Let's just say it involved no flowers at the church & the police. Also, when vendors pressure you with a discount for a certain # of days, don't fall for it (I'm in sales and it's a common 'hard close' approach). You can always negotiate to get a better deal... Good Luck!

Hey Girls...I just went to a wedding last night and they used J ack N R 0se florist...all the flowers looked beautiful and they held up all night...HTH!

It wasn't that I wanted them to make me a sample. I just wanted to talk about the specific flowers I wanted to use. When I met with him for the initial meeting, he was shoving everyone else's Thank You's in my face and talking about how wonderful their products were. I thought his quote was outrageously expensive (I ended up getting flowers for $3,000 cheaper for the same amount of flowers and BoK's). And, this quote was without even specifying that I wanted roses. He wouldn't let me talk about specific flowers until I signed with them. I was just turned off by his approach.
