Im thinking of silk too, im not a big fan of flowers anyway so im not crazy about spending alot of $ on them

Haven't officially booked them, but my Mom has been talking with them about it. It's not a LIW vendor, but we've been using them since I was little (called Raindrops and Roses in Bay Shore). They did really cool heart shaped topiaries for my sisters CP's at her wedding. Basically its just a formality of me going there, discussing what I want and leaving a deposit.

Have you seen their work yet? I got a letter in the mail from them which inlcuded a 20% discount b/c they are house vendors for the Watermill. I wasn't really considering them though b/c I wasn't to impressed with what they had on the website. Maybe I should reconsider?

Yes I have!

I never thought I'd want tall CPs. When I walked up to their booth I nearly died! Their arrangements were beyond beautiful and they had one tall CP in particular that made my mouth drop open. Even FH was impressed and he doesn't know diddly squat about flowers. They also gave us the 20% and I think it's a good deal!

Good to know...I will go check them out now. That 20% discount is a great deal too...I felt bad passing it up.

Here prices were hundreds of dollars cheaper than all the other florists, even Burtons. Rose and her mother Doris were sooo nice. They even picked me up and dropped me off for my appointment because I live close by and my FH had the car. They knew I had a small budget and completely worked with it and gave me many ideas of ways I could save money without sacrificing the look I was going for. She has good reviews on here too from the brides that have used her.

i like designs by rose. my mom wants me to have our local florest that my grandmother used for years and we always use ( we still have a credit account with them even though they stopped doing credit accounts in 1970), so anyway we are going to have them do a sample of the CP's i want for my E-party in december and test them out.

but i do really like designs by rose, shes got great ideas and is very very sweet

i booked with Burtons and their prices were AMAZING!!!!! i was so worried that we would not be able to afford flowers due to the outragous prices i had been hearing and they were GREAT!!!
