Can you please recomend me a good florist with good prices... I dont want to pay over the top or over price for flowers. TIA

BURTONS! they have great prices if you dont want to spend too much on flowers.

Mockawetch Florist (ask for Barbara) in New Hyde Park, very resonable priced (wholesaler) and excellent quality. Look in my Wedding Album for preview.

Burtons is inexpensive bc they are a wholesaler, however my sister used them for her wedding and the bouquets were falling apart before we even walked down the aisle. they were beautiful but i do suggest going elsewhere like pedestals.

Yeah, my sister went to Burtons about 3 years ago and the flowers were beautiful.. however my friend went there and they were wilting. There are a lot of mixed feelings about Burtons

Pedestals. They are a little more expensive than Burton's but I have consitently heard good things about their work.

Generally, make sure that your Florist is attentive. You could go with a place with great recommendations, but your account rep is less than perfect. Or, you could go to a shop without such a following and get the BEST customer service.

Be super sure that the person you're working with is organized and communicates with you. If you're an email person, make sure you get someone who responds by email. Or if you're a phone person, specify that.

Regardless of which florist you use, make sure that you're confident in what you're getting... and you get that confidence by how your account rep works with you.
