This is the next on the list - I should be seeing a few in the month of Jan
I am feeling really anxious about this and feel like I have no idea what I want or should want
Does anyone else feel like this or for those of you who had booked one did you feel like this.
This is the one vendor that I am not looking foward to and it is making me crazy. I think I also might feel this way because FH says he will not be going to any florists with me so now the whole decision is in my hands

Re: Florist
John didnt come with me either to the florists appointments. i found them to be the hardest vendor also just because i know nothing about flowers.
i brought some pics but i also just told them my colors and the florists would get a 'vision' and start rambling off flower names and show me some pictures.
i didnt pick anything out now...i just got quotes basically and when down the road i have to sit down with them to go over exact flowers.
maybe you can do a search for flowers that are in season for yor wedidng or by color to get an idea?

if you tell them that they will start shooting out al these ideas to you..maybe show you some stuff...help you visualize it...all the florists i met with told me they are used to people not knowing anything about flowers

Re: Florist
it did for me too. i didnt want to spend alot of money either since they just die. it was my hardest vendor though, they asked me the most random questions sometimes that i had no answers to.
some asked about my wedding dress and height (to make the bo-k size and style fitting i guess). they asked what color the people who are getting corsages were wearing. i was like ummmm no idea

Re: Florist
We didn't feel anxious about the florist at all because we knew we were gonna use Flower Michele right off the bat because of how highly recommended they came to us and we had seen their work a number of times. Plus after the centerpieces at my E-party by them I knew I had to have them for the wedding!
Adam only came with me the e-party meeting but when we booked them for the wedding I went with my mom and FMIL. Adam gave me free range of what I wanted colors and everything so I went in there relaxed because I wasn't worried about butting heads with FH.
Good Luck!! Let us know how it goes
Edited for:
If you are confused about flowers and stuff ask your florist if they ever go to the flower market in the city and see if you could go with him/her. Rich at Flower Michele is taking me to the Flower Market in June to pick flowers out for our centerpieces and everything!

For now I am only getting CP. My nana is going to do the rest - well at least all of our boks - she used to work with a florist. She offered to do the CP but that would be way way to much work. Originally I wasn't even going to have flower CP but after going to a wedding last month I had to have them

Re: Florist
The florist was the hardest thing for me to book. All I knew is that i wanted something different...but very fall type flowers. Flower Michele was the first florist to put me at ease and make me feel as if I could trust the finished product. Def check them out!

Re: Florist
I was thinking about booking a florist while I am on Christmas vacation. The thing is I dont want centerpieces really with flowers in them. I want a real wintery cp with crystals and snowflakes. A florist can do that right???
I would also be getting my boks from them also.
Does anyone have any recommendations???
TIA
