I've had a bad experience with them too. I didnt even get to meet with them. I got to the building and it was locked I called and left a message and said if someone is there, I am leaving in 10 min if no one comes to the door. They called me when I was just about home about an hour later and said we were in the back the whole time...then why didnt they have a note on the door to go to the back ??? bad business people!!!

I agree with that too--its sad that they have to remove. I didn't even make it to the contract stage but the showroom and his demeanor gave me all the info I needed.

argh this post makes me upset....
mainly because I remember a few weeks ago some brides posting about how they are using this co and I know if they see this post they will get upset... I WOULD.
BUT on the other hand, I didnt use them because I couldnt get any feedback on them- I asked about them on LIW and got the same email which I didnt like...then when you go on the site it says they are backed by BBB...when you go on BBB it says that they are falsely advertising and BBB has asked them to take that down and they still havent...
Anyways I have to say my Banquet Manager put like 10 stars next to their name on my recc vendors list and said they were wonderful.. so brides that are using them Im sure you will be fine... I guess theres just a lot of mixed reviews about them out there.

Yeah I'm kinda freaking out now. I have a meeting with them tomorrow and I won $500 off of my flowers from them so I don't know what to do.

you think people shouldn't post their negative experiences of vendors??? isn't that what this whole thing is about...advice and helping everyone out?

EVERYONES experience is diffrent. They could have posted this another way like I went to a vendor yada yada if you want to know who FM me. Not blast the vendor ESPECIALLY when girls are using them. What if it was one of your vendors? Woudlnt you feel horrible if you read this post?

I cannot believe this. I thought the reason for this site was to help each other out with this wedding planning stuff. We all know that people are going to have their opinions and that we need to weigh them ourselves. I'm not sure about everyone else but I use all this feedback in a constructed manner- reading all these opinions, looking at reviews on other sites, talking to brides who used the vendors and meeting with the vendors themselves and making my own decision. I hope to plan my wedding once in my life and I don't want to make a mistake by ignoring what others say or taking the comments as expert opinions but I use the board to narrow down my vendors. I think it is ridiculous to lash out at someone for their own opinions- the problem is how YOU take their info and use it on your own. So girls- keep those thoughts coming, negative or positive because I truly need help planning my wedding and will never think less of you for speaking your mind!

LIW blocks negative posts about ANY LIW vendor that pays money to adverise on this site. LIW deletes all negative entries that mention specific vendors because they need the vendor's money.

The only thing you can do is post the name of the vendor in your profile (assuming you booked them) and then write a post saying 'I have not had a good experience with my florist/DJ/band, etc and invite anyone to FM for details.'

I agree that LIW's policy on negative vendor reviews really blows but I have been able to contact other brides and get the good info via FM.
