I have my first florist appointment Saturday and I'm not sure what to expect. Is there anything I should bring (besides pictures) or specific questions to ask?
Thanks!

Re: Florist Appointment
-Have an idea of a general guest count -# of corsages for 'special people' and bridal party count -general look you're going for (photos are great to bring) -any samples from dresses or photos if you have
?s to ask -will you see a sample? -how do they deal with the logistics for delivery? i.e. they should be contacting the RH and the church on their own to make the drop-off arrangements and p/up of any tall vases -how many deliveries do they make?
Part of the experience too is whether the person gets your vision, and also your gut feeling. Most florists know what they're doing, it's a matter of the confidence and working relationship you feel with them.

Re: Florist Appointment
1. Delivery charges? 2. Payment schedule? 3. When do you see your sample? Will you do sample prior to me booking? 4. You may want to ask how many flowers they're going to include in each arrangement. Some places will charge you an arm and a leg for, say, callas, put a ton in your sample, and skimp on the real thing. 5. Ask if they have any in-house centerpiece holders/stands/vases, because if they have to rent them, it's an additional expense. Ask to see them. 6. Pay in cash - no sales tax?
