Florist Appointments this weekend

I'm going to see Verbena, Flower Barn, Atlantic Floral, and Designs by Rose on Sunday...any suggestions on what to ask or comments on any of those vendors?

I've been searching the board for reviews, so I mainly want to see if anyone has a list of questions to ask or tips I should keep in mind since I'll be going alone

Don't feel bad about going alone - I will be doing the florist alone as well. Think of it as your chance to put your own touch on your wedding. Yours and only yours.

if you go to Bliss weddings.com, there is a whole list of for every vendor, I printed that out. So far I only met w/ one florist buy my DOC is amazing & was able to save me $$ w/ another florist

I think going by yourself is actually a great idea! I did (for the florist), and I was glad I did. Your florist can really go over the details of all the flowers you want, which would probably drive your FH insane.

Some ideas:

Be firm with your budget.
Know how many people you need corsages, bouts for....
kids in the wedding? Flower girl, etc? Do they need flowers?
what you need for cocktail hour?
Do you want cake table decor?
Sweetheart table decor?
Any curch/ceremony decor (rose petals, etc?)Do Do you have mantles, or other areas that you want flowers for?
Do you have specific flowers in mind? If not, let the florist tell you what is less expensive and in season...

If you already have ideas and pictures saved bring them with you. They will have magazines and books for you to look through but it will be a little quicker to show what you have in mind. The florist can then show you some other additional ideas.

Also the down payment and installment schedule. Make sure it fits when you can make the payments.
