Is one year before the wedding good enough to make an appt with the florist? I was thinking of waiting until the summer but I already pretty much know what I'm looking for.....should I wait or get it out of the way?

one word of advice- if you know, book it. My friend lost burton's to another wedding w/i a week of her appt and decison to book

get it done. We have all our vendors booked. We were able to book with our first choice vendors bc we did it right away.

yea maybe I should call them tomorrow and make an appt.
My RH has a required vendor but only for flowers....i get to choose from a list of 2 but I don't mind cause the florist I was going to use anyway is one of them and I've seen their work so I guess I should def. get on the ball

I was thinking of waiting till one year before, to see what flowers are in season then. Bad idea?

Don't wait to book. I booked my florist in Feb and my wedding is not for over a yr. Good vendors book fast. Girls on LIW can vouch for this...
