Florist Drama

Florist Drama

I just booked my florist on Saturday. I thought I'd be super excited about this vendor and I was until I walked out of the shop. I realized as I was leaving that they werent adding in some important details that all the other florists were doing. First, was thatthey are charging me extra to have my own boquet delivered to my house the morning of my wedding, I thought that would have been included in the drop-off price, but it isnt. and secondly, I thought that I would have been given a sample centerpiece and boquet a few months before the wedding. When I asked the florist during our consulation she said she could make me a sample center piece but I didnt realize until I left that it wasnt written on our contract :(

Move on from that place. I'm using Doris the Florist and she made sample centerpieces a week after our first appointment and this was before we even signed a contract.

Wow I never even thought to ask about a sample centerpiece. That's pretty nice but I wouldnt have it be a make or break deal. What's with the extra fee for your bouquet? Im guessing they charge per drop off stop, which is kind of ridiculous considering most florists understand that for a wedding there are several locations for flowers... Don't be too upset, demand what you want but if you were happy with your consultation than none of the other stuff matters.
