Can people who booked their florist please list their quotes and what they are getting. I am freaking out because my friend who got married in December told me she spent over $8,000 dollars on flowers and I never thought it would be that much!!!

I think on average the wedding budget guides suggest about 10% of your total budget.
It worked out to be just over that for us, but we have are a lot of things that most weddings don't .... decorating the ceiling with tulle, renting screens for the ceremony, chuppah decorations, etc.
ETA: Even with all the stuff listed above, we are also WELL below $8,000 too

flowers by burton all my cp are included in the rh prices per person so here is what i am getting from burtons 1 bride bok 6 bm boks 2 fg basktets 3 corsages 12 bouts 2 alter sprays 3 sets of pew bows 1 throw away bok ---------------------------- $720 don't worry, it all depends where you go and what you want. burtons is great you should at least get a quote from them......it doesn't matter what flowers you use, it just goes on what you need so you could do daisies or roses and its all the same amount.

We are paying a little over $1,600 for the following: 12 centerpieces my boq MOH boq 4 bridesmaid boq's 2 flower girl baskets 2 corsages 7 buttonieres boq for tossing cake decorations

About $750--and we got to choose whatever flowers we want!

i paid $500 for my bo-k's and bouts and such, no centerpieces bc we used candles...you can see exactly what i got in my review. just shop around and spend what you are comfortable with. for me, i wasnt about to spend a couple grand on flowers that get tossed at the end of the night.

Keep in mind that low or candle CPs are going to be less than high CPs. Cost can also depend on the types of flowers you want--things that are out-of-season are going to cost more. Good luck!

$8k must of been for a really large wedding, with 20+ high centerpieces, TONS of extra floral displays, a large bridal party, and a completely decked out ceremony space....
don't worry. That is easily 2-4X the average cost everyone reports.... many weddings have floral $$ of under 2k.... inlcuding ours.
