Did you girls get bridesmaide dresses first so that you could match the flowers to the dresses? Or did you have an idea of what you were going to put them in? Do I have to know what color they are going to wear?

I just decided what color I am doing then went from there. I brought pictures of things I liked and the guy (who was fabulous) made suggestions that matched perfectly. You should have an idea of what color the BM dresses are going to be because then your price quote will be more accurate and reflect the colors/types of flowers that will match.
The only things I needed to know going in was the the # of people in the bridal party, # of people getting corsages, bouts (i.e., grandparents, FFIL, etc.), start and end time of ceremony and reception and number of guests/tables you are expecting to have.

I matched the flowers to the BM dress I wanted and made sure everything matched.

I picked out a BM dress that I wanted to go with the theme of the wedding. I also found a color scheme that would match well even if I change the BM dress a little bit. I also brought a swatch of the dress I picked to the sample appointment to make sure everything worked together.
