It depends on what you are getting and for how many people.
I am getting roses/sunflowers/calla lillies for myself, 2 BM's and 2 moms, plus 5 rose boutineres for the guys.
Also, do you need CP's? For how many tables? Church decorations?

i wouldn't offer up my budget to any vendor right off the bat, and those who 'pressure me' into doing so would not get my business...
i would shop around, get quotes and THEN create a budget based on what is available and what you decide you want...

Honestly it depends on just how many flowers you need..
You have bridal party flowers, ceremony flowers and reception flowers.. so ball park figures could go as low as $1000 (for a smaller wedding) to $10,000 (for bigger weddings with big (tall) centerpieces and the like)
I would estimate how much you can really afford, or figure out what the look is you want and get quotes based on that.
The most important thing is SHOP AROUND!!!

definitely shop around..i went to one place who wanted 3000 plus extra if the flower was out of season and then to another place who was willing to give me any flower at any time of the year for just 1500..
