So I went to two different florists this weekend and got two VERY different quotes for the same exact flowers and design.
One florist wanted 8k...CRAZY...we almost fell off our chairs.
The other florist wanted 3K....Very low in our opinion...for the EXACT same stuff!!!
Now, I am so confused. How can i get 2 totally different prices. The expensive one is crazy and I would never pay that...but I dont know if I trust the lower priced one. Why are they so much cheaper? I have two more appts in the next few weeks....

Re: Florist Pricing
$8,000. OMG I'm really curious who you went to. FM me if you don't want to say because I heard that the florist I used was more expensive than the rest but I didn't pay anywhere near 8K.

Re: Florist Pricing
We used James Cress Florist and paid about $3,400.00 - but we had a large bridal party anf 17 tables, so it added up quickly. $8,000 seems way, way too high.

Re: Florist Pricing
8K for flowers is crazy. I have a large order and mine started at $3,200, but with added centerpieces, I think I will be paying about 4k.

Re: Florist Pricing
That should absolutely not be any where NEAR $8000!!!
My package was very similar and I paid under 3! In fact, I had almost the exact same flowers. With the exception of peonies...I had everything else.

Re: Florist Pricing
My fiance would pass out!! I'll be using almost all the same things (minus the huppah) and would appreciate if you can FM me the florists you visited. UNDER $3000 sounds waaaaaay better to my budget!

Re: Florist Pricing
what are you asking for? wow - 8K for flowers? i went to burton's saturday (really nice guy - Mike) and for what I want (just bouquets, boutoneires, centerpieces, votives, petals, no flowers at altar in church) it was under 2K. and my FH still thought that was high.

Re: Florist Pricing
I had the same experience but ended up going with the less expensive one (Burtons) and was very, very happy with my decision. Although I think the higher priced florist may have been more 'creative' saving $4000 was more important and I ended up loving what Burtons did. Feel free to take a look at my chuppah and centerpieces since I posted them a while back. As many guests commented as to how beautiful my flowers were as commented how great the band was (Next Faze). Good luck with your decision!
