Re: Florist Question
I could be wrong but I think you can look now and get prices and stuff like that. I think they ask you approx. how many centerpieces you will need, how many bouquets, ceremony pieces, etc. You probably don't have to worry about the colors yet.

Re: Florist Question
Hi-
I booked my florist and I still dont know what colors I am going to go with. You can just go over pricing, what you will need and get an idea of what types of flowers you can use. Once you choose your colors you can meet with them again and go over all that stuff

Re: Florist Question
you don't need colors of dresses in order to book the florist or even receive pricing...Just tell them what type of flowers you are looking for...

Re: Florist Question
Ive been told not to start looking for a florist until about 9 months before the wedding. I mean everyone is entiltled to do what they want but, florists can do multiple weddings at a time so its not like they book up quick like halls and photographers and even DJs.
My advice: Wait. Wait until you have the BMs dresses and until you have a better vision of what you really want.

Re: Florist Question
i went with my girlfriend to a florist last weekend (for her wedding) and the florist told me she finds it easier for us brides to have our dress first, that way we can talk about what kind of flowers will match the dress... because what if you go with a completely different kind of dress and now the flowers that you want cost a completely different price.
I was originally going to do my florist search next, but instead im going to swap that with my dress hunt... the new dress line is already out and there wont be any new dresses coming out before my wedding date, so what am i really waiting for?? i guess the dress hunt makes it all feel so official!
if you do go to the florist, make sure you bring tons of pictures of what you like... that they can see exactly what you want and not just guess the name of the flower!!

Re: Florist Question
I have also heard that florists find it easier to work with brides who have already picked their dress and the BM dresses. I'm going to wait until April to start looking for a florist. Good luck
