I was just wondering when should I start searching for a florist if my wedding is in April 2009.

this site can totally make you paranoid. if you want one of the bigger names then I would say mid to late 2008; if you use your rh's recommended florist (like I'm doing) you can wait until later in the year. that's what i think

We booked just after our one year mark. You have a lot of time and don't need to do it at your one year mark but you can. We booked because this spring is going to be very busy for us and I didn't want to add running around to vendors on top of everything else.

yeah you can wait a while. we booked in sept fpr a july wedding. Florist are ays b/c they can do many orders on the same day. I am not saying to wait to the last minute but I would start shopping for prices and find some one you love. but you hae time

I guess I'm behind... My wedding is in 6 months and I haven't even begun to look for my florist... Guess I better get on that...
