Do you book a florist and then they make you up a sample or do you see a sample and then decide to book. Sorry for the stupid question....the florist is my next stop!
I hadn't met with a florist that would do a sample prior to having me sign a contract. If you find one, great. Otherwise, view their photos (they should have countless books with differing styles, seasons, venues, etc.). Or view website. Also, see what they are currently working on onsite. The three times I have been to my florist I have seen the parties they were preparing for. It would give you a good indication of their talent (even if you have differing style).
I was able to see a sample before I booked. That was one of the reasons I was so apt to go with this florist- Pedestals. They were willing to make me some samples before I booked and I LOVED that!
All the florists I looked at did a sample of my arrangement before we booked. I don't think I would've signed them if they didn't
I got a sample bouquet while we were there!!!! She also did 75% of the centerpiece while we were there.
