Florist question

Florist question

We’re starting to look into florists when you meet with them and give some of your ideas and they put together a sample centerpiece for you to see do you have to pay for that because that may not be the florist you are going to book with? Or do they only do a sample centerpiece after you book with them?

it depends on the florist. some would do a sample even before you book, some do it after you book.

what i noticed with me when i was looking was that, those florist who do not want to do a sample before booking called me a month later offering to do a FREE sample. but by then it was too late because i've already booked with someone else.

ITA - its also worth asking them before you make an appointment - you've got nothing to lose and they've got your business to gain

I personally booked with Flowers by Gina – She prepares samples before you book and you aren’t obligated to use her services – she will work with what you envision and will construct a sample based on your requests.

She was amazing - wiling to work with your budget and will most definitely give you the biggest bang for your buck; Quality and personal attention to detail is what she delivers. She prepared a sample for FH and I - I told her what I envisioned and she nailed it – we booked it! She only does one wedding per day. The size of her floral arrangements are nothing short of spectacular and you can tell her work comes from her heart – she is fully invested in her craft and ensuring your happiness. You can send her en email of what your colors are and she will work hand in hand with you to create your vision of floral perfection. I met with 5 different florist – let me know if you want an fm detailing more info - Happy to help =)

You should not have to pay to have a sample done. Some florists claim that they would only do a sample after you book with them, but what is the point in that? I didn't even consider florists who would not do a sample for me. I visited 5 florists in total, 3 did samples and that is how I made my choice.

I found that if it was a deal breaker they would definitely show you a sample. BUT I had a summer wedding and booked my florist months in advance so my specific flowers were not yet in season. They had a lot of great reviews and I fully trusted the work of my florist, so I booked without a sample. When it came closer to my wedding and more in season, they made me a sample so that I was positive I like it. They were willing to make any changes necessary, but I LOVED what they were able to do with my vision. I was extremely happy. Go with a florist that you know had done good work, and you will not be unhappy.

ITA! I didn't want to visit a florist before seeing their work. Designs by Rose and Flowers by Gina both prepare a sample for you before you book! I booked with Designs by Rose!
