Ok, I went to a highly recommended florist and while I thought I would be meeting with this one particular designer, I had a meeting with someone whom I've never heard of. (I'm trying to be vague here, sorry.)
Anyway, my fiance and I totally did not like this guy. He had no original ideas and was very pushy. He told me he could copy anything I wanted if I brought him photos - great, but I don't want copies of someone else's flowers, I'm paying you to design flowers for me! He didn't even know my room at my hall! He kept showing me photos of white and pink flowers when I am using fall colors! I could go on and on about the things he was saying....
Ok, question: should I scrap this florist all together (obviously this designer, yes, I'll scrap) and continue on, or should I ask for a meeting with the designer I thought I would be meeting with?

I chose the second one, if you've heard other good things about their work, then you should meet w/ the actual person you want before you scrap them. The other person could be amazing, and have great ideas for you. You are paying a lot of $$ and the flowers should be wonderful and exactly what you want!

I would chose the florist that I feel most comfortable with, IMO.

If the shop is Flower Michele and you didn't meet with John - I would go back. Otherwise, look around. JMHO

Having floral dilemnas myself, I have to say, scrap them and move on to someone else. I have been to 10 florists, and narrowed it down to two. I had wonderful amazing experiences with both of them, now I just have to pick.
