Florist questions

Florist questions

So I think I made a decision on which florist I want, now we are at the contract stage. When you bargain with them, should you ask for a cheaper price on a particular item (for example, should I ask her to adjust the price of the chuppah?) or should I just throw out a lower number than her total price?

How much do you think I could ask off? When my photographer agreed so readily on the price, I thought I should have asked for more off, but it was obviously too late. I don't want the same thing to happen with the florist, but I also don't want to insult her. I already asked her to take off the flower petals down the aisle at my appointment.

TIA!

My route was to get their quote and come back with what I was looking to pay. Then offer cash. They will usually negotiate with you. Every single vendor was negotiable except the hotel block, for me.

Good luck!

When I was negotiated with the Florist I negotiated down the price her centerpice because that is where I got the most bang for my buck. Every dollar I got off I saved it times at least times 17! I ended up getting them down $40 a centerpiece. That means I saved about $680!

I just set that it was a little higher than the budget I wanted to spend. She said she would lower the total price if we paid cash.
