so i went to a florist today to see if i can get a good deal since i need cp's for my shower as well as wedding.
wedding i got quoted 2,220
it included 12 high cps with purple orchids shooting out everywhere, roses, calla lillies and some other purple flower fillers along with silver sparkley branches.
my bok- these supper thick orchids that feel like plastic. with those diamond thingies
3 bm boks- roses and some purple fillers
(the bok's will all have this case with water in it so the flowers stay fresh. the florist also said to save the extra material from the bm dresses and my dress when we get it altered. he will wrap the bok's with that material to match)
1 corsage for my god mother
and hes throwing in 6 bouts and 2 corsages for the moms 'free'
and petals for the flower girl are 'free'
is this a good quote??
(shower cps are in the works but wont be that much cuz they will be low. i wanted high but the florist said i should do high for my wedding instead.whatever)

oh.. he also tacked on 300$ (in the 2,220) for set up/delivery.

i dont think that's too bad, but i would def. try to negotiate the set up fee..that's insane-my fee is only 75..

this sounds really beautiful. I think the quote is ok! but if you are indecisive i would suggest just visiting 2 more florists so that way you can compare prices

The florist i booked is $2100 + tax
It included 10 low centerpieces (since my room has an awesome view of the water) and votives on the table Dais arrangement My bouquet, maid of honor and 3 bridesmaids Throw away bouquet Corsages, and boutonnières 2 alter arrangements Chiffon pew bows Plus my awesome designer threw in some other loose flowers and such
My set and fee is less than yours though. Your price isn’t bad at all but I would just shop around to ease your mind.

I haven't met with florists yet but based on some weddings I've been to, that is pretty comparable. I would probably meet with a few others just to compare.

i think the quote sounds good but $300 for set up/delivery is alot. i'm paying $75 for that.

I would visit some more to make sure. I am paying Just under $1400 for my Bok 2 MOH Bok 4 BM bok 10 bout. 5 corsages 14 low centerpieces flowers for the cake arrangement for the place card table and the delivery is include.
I am using Burtons.

That is a decent quote but I think you can do better. I am paying $2500 and getting 20 CP's, more bouquets, and ceremony flowers, in addition to what you are getting, Also, the $300 fee is RIDIC!!! It does sound beautiful though!

i think it sounds right on target, im getting 15 high cps rather than 12 (well now prop 16 ) and basically all the other stuff you are getting except 2 more bms boks for 2400. i know its not the lowest quote but i also asked for very full and round. so i think 2200 sounds good because even though you are getting less than me, you are getting some low centerpeices which say for like 8 (idunoo how many your getting) could be around 500. so say your wedding stuff is costing 1700 plus the shower stuff...so it adds up right to me

ITA- visit more. Can't hurt! I am using Burton's too and the delivery fee is included in their prices

I don't think they is to bad. I think you should try looking around though. Check out Flower Michele they gave me a SICK quote and no set up fee or delivery fee since I am a JT bride... Also to add the delievery is to Ridge which is about an hour away from JT, still Free!
