It depends on the # of flowers and the kind of flowers..they are doing a lot but if its carnations and fillers sounds high...but honestly I think the 1300 sounds high and I am unsure of what you mean by large candle rental for $65!!! If you take those two charges out all those flowers are only $1372 which seems sort of inline with what I've seen

the large candle rental for the place card table is the larger version of the cyclinder trio. I may or may not keep that, not sure how necessary it is. The BoKs have NO carnations and little fillers so I guess that's why it is more expensive. I'm going to visit more places to get a feel for pricing and then may adjust what I chose.

Not sure, I guess it depends on how full and the types of flowers but I can say that is a lot higher than what I am paying. My florist is charging me about $50 per BM bouquet, $65 for MOH, and $125 for Bridal. I asked for roses for BM and MOH and I wanted Calla Lillies. My alter arrangements are less than too, I think $80-$100 each. The men's bout's were about $8 each, too. I am also doing corsages not bouquets for my mom and grandparents.

The moms and grandparents are corsages too but I think you are right that the quote is high. I am going to try a few more places and let her know that we need to come down on pricing. I really wanted it to be about $1500! GULP.

IMO, yes. Have you shopped around with other florists? Can I recommend Hidden Essence?

Where are they located? This was my first floral appt. They had SUPER reasonable invites that I would get a further discount if I booked with them but I have to talk to them bc this is such a high quote. My mistake I think was not telling her my budget but I wanted to get a feel of what it would be first (was hoping for cheaper) lol

She probably used more expensive flowers because you didn't give budget!! Talk to them and other florists for comparison because it really feels like this could go down a lot!!

I think the quote is a little high. You should also check out B*urtons. They don't charge extra based on the types of flowers you want to use.

I think 100 for the MOH and 90 for the bridesmaids is out of line. Its usually $50-60 for nice bridemaids bouquets. So right there you could save over $200. Also, many, many places give you boutineieers discounted or for free! check out other places.

Crashing...
I have a very low budget for flowers and I am using Designs by Rose. Rose and her mother have been the most helpful vendor I have used thus far. She is very genuine and extremely honest. Give her a budget and she will tell you what she can do with that.
I am spending under $400 for flowers since I am doing candle centerpieces myself.
She discounted a lot of things even though I didnt even spend that much money with her. You can email her your quote and they will give you details. It's worth checking out.
Burtons, Hidden Essence came over $500 more than what Rose quoted me if that helps.
Here is what I am getting
Vendella 1 1/2 Bride Bouquet 8 cool water roses hand tied bouquet with purple fillers. (7 bouquets). 5 corsages 9 Bouts. Delivery to two places I am provided her the bling wrap bouquet and she will wrap it at no additional charge.
Under $400 for this.

Yea it really depends on the flowers ...but I just want to a local one in my town and it ended up being so much cheaper for me b/c she only does one wedding not 50 in one day so that helps so much

oberle on east meadow avenue in east meadow-they're not really mentioned here, but they've been doing weddings for years, they have been in the same location forever, and they're family oriented. they also source their flowers from long island/grow the rest themselves since they're a working nursery, and we wanted to stick with all local vendors and sources
