The BMs will have assorted roses and hydrangea and berries (same for me), bouts will be orchids.
Is this reasonable??
Thanks!

If you want the price to come down a bit, though, consider not using candles for CPs. A very reliable florist told me it would be cheaper for me to do floral cp's (depending on size) than candles.
Just something to consider

Re: Florist quote - reasonable?
im paying about 3k for my florist but my BP is 18 people... And they are doing flowers on every other pew in the church [which means theyre decorating like 20 pews!]
im not sure exactly what im getting off the top of my head but i know its more than that.. I think you should either n egotiate the price or check out some more florists!

It sounds ok to me. I have more and I am paying 2400. But I only have roses. I think orchids are more. If thats the case then it sounds good to me. Shop around and compare prices. Your flowers sound beautiful!!

Re: Florist quote - reasonable?
The orchids are not really affecting the price too much $8.50 each for the bouts. It's the centerpieces, which do not even have any flowers, at $75 each that really added up!

What's a pomander and nosegay? I've never heard of that before.

It sounds right about in the same ball park as what I was quoted for about the same amount.

a pomander is a round flower ball like this...
A nosegay is a very small bouquet.

that is very reasonable compared to what I've seen and what I am paying. If you want to stretch it furhter, maybe negotiate for complimentary flowers in the ladies room as well.

I think it is reasonable. I am using Burtons, and I have found them to be one of the most reasonable out there.
