Florist Quotes

Hey Girls,
For those of you that have booked your florists, would you be able to tell me what the average cost is?? What flowers are you using (cuz I know that mattters) And what you guys are getting for that cost??

This is what I got qouted- $3,500 for the following:

My Bouquet (orchids, cala lily's and roses)
6 Bridesmaid Bouquets
3 crosages
10 boutinaires
church arrangements
Pew Bows
Rose Petal Cones
15 Tall Centerpieces (hydrangeas, orchids, Cala lilies, Roses and gerber daisy)
1 Centerpiece for Escort Card

Does this seem like a good deal?? Can you break down what you guys got for your prices??

I think its easier to break everything down by individual cost... here's mine

We're using lots of different flowers which makes the budget go up. We're using mango mini callas, orange vanda orchards, hypernicum berries, leonoris roses, van pitt (dont remember what this is) and fiddle head ferns under the flowers like a collar around the bouquets and centerpieces.

My bouquet will be $150
I have two MOHS and they'll be $190 combined
Two bms $160 combined
5 bouts for $40
Four corsages for $80
Centerpieces will be in funkins (fake pumpkins) that I supply and they're $75 each - I think I'll have 14 tables so that will be $1050
Plus petals for church and flowers for cake if I want them and a bouquet for Mary in the church.

It came out to $1695 (w/out tax) including a $25 delivery charge

I got 2 quotes.

I need 8 boks, 11 bouts, 3 corsages, 11 tall CPs (providing my own vases). I am using roses, ranunuclus and hydrangeas. I was quoted $2100 and $2500, respectively. We're not using church arrangements (church is gorgeous), DIY everything else I may want/need. I am just getting the basics from the florist, but it may change.

Flower Michele... so far they're awesome!

um...i got a lot more for a lot less but thats from Burtons which everyone knows about already so i will shut up...lol
they charge by amount not by flower.. i am paying about $2700 which includes my bo-k plus 14 people bridal party (adults) 6 more kids (including 2 jr bms and 2 fg) all corsages and boots for grandparents, parents and readers....flowers for 22 candelabras as centerpeices (will be a wreath like display on top and bottom of candelabras) 2 chruch displays, pew boys which i am taking off to make my own pew decor, a place card display and my bo-k and fh boot....

Wow.. That's a pretty good deal. This is the florist that did my engagement party and gave me a good deal and I know how he works. I kind of don't know what to do - as usual. LOL

Sounds like a good deal... we're paying $2700 but we have 20 low centerpieces instead of 15 high, the rest is the same.

That was for roses, orchids and hydrangeas.
