Florist Rant and Hoorah
I went to Stefan's florist in Cedarhurst with my FH and we sat down with Paul. He came up with what he can do within our budget and told us that next week he'd do a sample for us to see. I was like great (even though I had seen their work before I wanted to see if we can be wowed by them). I had pretty much had it in my head that I was going to be going with Flower Michele anyhow but wanted to just check out Stefan's because a few had recommended them to me.
Last Sunday FH and I went at 12pm to see Paul and he did a wonderful centerpiece.. I have to admit he did wow me... only problem is that the flowers were starting to wilt!! FH noticed it and told me and I asked Paul if 'this was the quality of the flowers that we'd be getting'. He said yes (I didn't tell him that the flowers were wilting) and told me that he first made that centerpiece at 9am that morning! I didn't mention that we noticed that the flowers were already wilting and drooping.
I'm a bit disappointed.. I know Stefan's has a good reputation and all but was like wth when I saw wilting flowers.
On the flip side I know that I am getting a great deal from FM and I'm going to be happy with them![]()
I just felt the need to voice my disappointment in some of these vendors I've seen. You'd think if they really wanted your business they'd use fresher flowers..
