Florist Recommendations

So it seems that most brides on LIW are going with Pedestals, Flowers by Brian, Flowers by Gina,etc.....

Would anyone have other recommendations as to any local florists that they went to? FH and I are trying to gather figures as to whether the 'bigger' companies are worth the extra money. So far we have checked out Flower Barn, B urtons, and Bayview Flowers & Montage. Any other recommendations?

what kinda pricing did you get so far for the smaller florists and what were you getting ? i herd Bayview is quite expensive.

Since my Mother is buying our flowers I'm REALLY trying to be aware of the cost...flowers are important to me but I can't see myself telling her to spend 4-5k on flowers....Bayview was very expensive,...about $800 over our budget. SInce I live near there, I checked them out and they are on the pricey side...

Mike from flower barn is amazing. I gave him a max I wanted to spend and he came under by 1000. But remember if u want high cp's it will be more and how many people are in the wedding party.

Do you guys have a local florist you use? I ask as we are using a florist 'In Full Bloom' as my FH has been buying me beautiful flowers from there since we started dating...They do a great job and so we decided to use them for our special day... They are reasonable and work with you.. I have my appt on Sunday to see my centerpiece..I can't wait... I love the fact we can use people who have been great to us all the time we are dating...Cute thing is, they ask FH how many days til the wedding and he knows since I keep track...
