Our wedding is about 9 months away now and we haven't had any florist appointments yet. The reason is that I haven't chosen a color scheme yet because i'm still so undecided about the BM dress color. I'm thinking it doesn't make sense to meet with florists when I have no idea what colors (and therefore what flowers) I will be using. I plan to have my colors chosen in the next couple weeks. I want to schedule appointments to meet with Flowers by Brian, Designs by Rose, Flower Michelle, and a couple others. Am I still OK on time because i'm starting to worry?

i think you'll be fine, just realize some of the big names may be booked since you're getting closer-i think it also depends how many weddings a day they will do..

ITA. There are so many florists out there, but chances are the big wedding name florists will book up first!
