IMO: Depends on what you get for the price you're willing to spend.

Try Designs by Rose (vendor on LIW).. they're great with price & work.

I used the florist through Perfect Wedding Planner, and I really like Chris. He's awesome.

Go with who you feel most comfortable. I am going with James Cress because I have used him before and believe that the quality of his work is worth the extra price (he tends to be a little more than most florists)
But meet with a few and by talking to them and getting price quotes and seeing what those quotes include and comparing them to eachother you should be able to make a decision. Also, look at their sample CPs and Bo-k's. Good Luck!

I agree. I also chose Designs By Rose and that was before I joined LIW. They really are great!

i am using the flower barn by my house and love them!! i would go with somebody you like - location was important for me b/c i was afraid of poor weather since its a Feb wedding, i wanted to be confident my vendors could travel safely and still arrive for my wedding. If travel/location is not a concern book someone you like the work of and liked personally.

Go with who you like and feel comfortable with. I went with the florist that had a good rep and a good price (worked within my budget) and nice to talk to. I am very happy with my decision!

Shop around and make sure whoever you go with (whether a vendor on here or not) you love them!

I actually met with florists from LIW vendor list, and florists close to home that I had used for other occasions before. I booked a florist that was recommended by another LIW bride. She is not an official LIW vendor, nor is she my local neighborhood florist, but her work was fabulous, she understood what I was looking for, had a great personality, and she quoted me a price I could afford.

Check her out - Nancy at Open House Country in Stony Brook.

I suggest West Islip Florist in West Islip, they are a family owned business, GREAT!

Go with a florist that has the best quality and the right price. It doesn not have to be a vendor on here but once you know their work is to your liking and they are reasonably priced then use them.

Flower Michele is a vendor on here who is reasonably priced with high quality work.
