Florist....Feed Back Please

HI Gals,

Could any of you please give me feedback on the following florists and could you state why you chose them. And also, Did you find the cost to be reasonable? I'm going to start pricing them in the next few weeks. Thanks Gals!

I am in pedastals, but have heard that they are expensive..so I am going to check out other options first!

I saw 3 out of the 4 and these are my opinions...
Spitz and Peck- were SO expensive and not that nice and creative. I think you can get alot more for your money.
Flowers by Brian- Niecey used them and her bo-k's were SO pretty but the woman I met with rubbed me the wrong way.
Pedestals- who we are using- they have been so nice and were the most reasonably priced ones. They beat Flowers By Brian's price when I told them I was deciding between the two. They have been so accomodating to me and have already made me up 2 samples to see. I am SUPER picky and still cannot decide who I want. If you go to see them work with Juda- she is SO SO nice. I am going back there on Saturday to see yet another centerpiece!

i would highly recommend flowers by michelle. he was the only florist i met with & i'm very picky- i like to research & shop around. john's creativity blew me away! many girls here have used them, i'm sure you could do a search & turn up many reviews. flowers by burton is less expensive however.

flowers by brian and flower michele--quoted me around the same price-----they both do beautiful work----every time i see a pic of a bo-k or corsage that i love--it always turns out to be one of theirs!!!

I chose Flowers Michele because John is a pleasure to work with. He was creative, kind, and sincere. I didn't even bother seeing anyone else, also he was so reasonably priced. I am under, if you can believe it, on my flower budget!

I also chose Flower Michele. I thought he was amazing, his creativity and enthusiasm. I didn't meet with anyone else, but from what I hear, his prices are around average, but he is very flexible, and will work within your budget.

If you do a search, I'm sure you'll find tons of info on all these florists.

I love Flower Michele!! I just posted my centerpieces tonight so you can see how his work is. I also thought his prices were reasonable.

I went to Flowers by Brian and I didn't care for their attitude. They just seemed like they were going through the motions where Flower Michele took the time to talk to us for an hour and seemed just as into my flowers as I was and he still seems that way.

I didn't see any of the other florist you listed because Flower Michele was my second appt and I just knew he was it!!! Sorry if it sounds too much like I am trying to sell Flower Michele but I just love John as do many other brides on here.

I met with a few florists, but only two from your list. I found Pedestals to be very expensive. From all the other florists I went to Pedestals was completely out of the range, but they could have just been honest about the cost I don't know. I fell in love with Flower Michelle. He just seemed to have so many great ideas and knew my hall really well. Good Luck!

Out of the ones on your list the only one I saw was Flower Michelle. We booked with him. I know Spitz & Speck and Pedestals are pricier. My MOH went to see Flowers by Brian and they were very obnoxious with her. I didn't visit b/c they were a bit more than what I wanted to spend.

Thank you, Gals! I will definetly call Flowers by Michelle and speak to JOhn! YOu gals pretty much sold me on them. They should give you fee for referring me there! I am also going to check out Flowers by Brian, Jack Rose and Burton's Thanks again!

we looked at pedestals and flowers by brian (they are house people at our hall!)...at flowers by brian the woman also rubbed us the wrong way and kept helping other people when we were there...plus we had to wait llike a half our for her when we had scheduled an apt.

pedestals wanted us to book right then and there - didn't give us a copy of all we wanted with a quote or anything - he wrote the rpice on the card and told us that he could gurantee the price that day but not after that...we left, needless to say

i liked flowers by michele when i went but for what we wanted, he was way too pricey....but he was wonderful!

we also went to jack and rose....and jakc made both fh and i feel completely at ease...it was amazing - we booked him right then and there..by that time, we had been to many florists (i am ridiculous and must go to like 20 places for everythign to compare....fh is like just pick one!) and once we saw his work and talked to him (and he gave us an awesome quote!) we knew it was the one!

Thanks for the info! YOu would think that vendors would know that word of mouth is the key. I can't believe the some of these vendors have attitudes! Thanks again!

John from Flower Michele has been wonderful so far. I wasn't impressed with either the ideas or the service at Spitz and Peck. Edited to add: John at Flower Michele also gave me great prices.

try steven alexander...they are great...copiague or mineola no attitudes there and real nice..they are on this site...and have pics on the knot

I had gone to all of those except spitz and peck and I fell in love and booked flower michele, john was really nice and loved his work and does such a nice job on his arrangements and his prices were the best.

I used Flower Michele and loved them! I looked at 4 florists (none of the others on your list) and John blew them all away. Reasonable prices, fabulous flowers and John was a doll to work with.
