Has anyone heard of any of the following florists?
1. Sugar Magnolias
2. James Cress Florist

I used West Sayville Country Florist. I think the prices are reasonable and the flowers were just what I asked for. Do a search for this florist and you will find some comments on them. I think Brenda used them, so check for a picture in her profile.
2. James Cress Florist

I met with James Cress and wasn't very impressed. They seemed like a flower factory.

I went to a wedding there and they had the cocktail hour outside, it was really nice. It happened to be a mild weather evening in October.

Good Luck and happy planning!!

I am using Sugar Magnolias for my wedding. Heidi, the owner, is very accommodating, she'll do whatever you want, she is very sweet, and her work looks beautiful.

Thanks for the tips and the Stonybrook one is a bit far but quaint. Txs!

I spoke with her yesterday, and she seems very sweet. Thanks for your response.

It's madelaina's hoisery, right off of 30th Ave. It's between 31st ave and 30th.

If you go see her work, tell me what you think.

Instead of using love stamps on my response cards, I'm using the breast cancer stamps. I know they may not be as pretty, but I think it sends a great message and I hope that at least one of my guests may take to using them as I do. They may be a little more $, but in the end, it is only a little more and it's for a good cause. My mother passed away from this and although she won't be there to see me walk down the aisle, every little bit towards this research helps someone else in the same situation.

I apologize if this sounds like I need a soapbox, I just think that it's a good idea that people wouldn't normally think of.
