Florists

how many florists are you meeting before picking one? i'm thinking of making appmts with 3-4.
and if anyone has picked a florist already what should i expect at my first meeting? do i need to know exactly what i want already- 'cause i'm so not sure what to do in terms of flowers!

I met with three florist and decided on my third one..>i really didn't know what I wanted at all...which is why I liked the third, they charge the same no matter what the flower! I would suggest getting an idea of how many centerpieces you need and what colors your BM dresses are or what the theme color will be...if you want info on my florist who is great, FM me!

I think we are meeting 2-3. I am going to try and look online at what I would like to give a better idea. One place said having a swatch from the dress would be helpful, but I don't have that yet!

I only saw one. I'm using LA Blossom and after meeting with Laurie, I knew that she would do a wonderful job.

techincally, we only met with 1...but i got a good price from them and just didn't care much about flowers. lol (only cause we are not doing floral CP's and just need 3 bo-k's)

every other vendor, i only met with 1 or 2
florists; i met with 7-8

We saw 2. I had a really good idea of what I wanted (FH couldn't give a @#$@# about flowers..). I brought the laptop, showed them my inspirations / ideas, and they told me what they could provide.

I highly recommend sugar magnolias in stony brook!

We actually went with the first and only florist we met with, Flower Michelle. FH and I live in NJ and it was just too much trouble to run here and there looking at different florists. John at FM was so highly recommended and since we really liked him & trust his vision we went with Flower Michelle.

I only met with 2....I just didn't have time to meet with anymore because I live out of state.
I booked Mike at flower Barn in Seaford. They are great.....check them out.
You just need to have an idea of what you want. They will help you make decisions if you are not sure. Having some pictures of things that you like helps too.

I met with two florists (James Cress, and Flowers by Burton). I found Flowers by Burton to be more reasonable. Plus I have seen their work many, many times and I LOVE it.
